Michael, the humble of the two brothers, is the first to learn of the creator's idea of the human race. Jealously overcomes Satanail and he decides to choose a life away from his brother and the creator. Obviously, Satanail becomes Satan, thus creating a heaven and hell of sorts.
The brothers face struggles that cross our paths daily, such as good vs evil and the consequences of our decisions. There's many lessons to be learnt, most of these lessons the simplest of moral standards. Moral standards that perhaps we don't always acknowledge. More importantly, it reminds us that greed and jealousy will never bring you peace.
What is quite refreshing within this story is the descriptive landscape that comes to life with each beautifully thought out paragraph. Animals, beasts and forests come to life, capturing your imagination page by page.
This novel is a beautiful read, and quite thought provoking at times.
A sci-fi twist based around ancient biblical stories, Fall From Grace is well worth the read.
