Okay, so I'm not convinced Glenn is dead after watching the conveniently timed fall where Nicholas fell on top of him, but seriously, how is he going to get out of this one? There's the obvious: He won't. There's the second to obvious: He'll scoot under the dumpster. Then there's the thirdly obvious: Something big is about to happen. Why do I think that? Because Rick has to escape from his god awful fate also. Is there going to be an explosion/distraction to pull the zombies' attention from our team?
So the writers threw in a few tasty references to the first time Glenn and Rick met such as Glenn calling Rick a dumb-ass on the 2-way radio and Rick being trapped, once again, in a vehicle surrounded by zombies, but my theory is, this is all to convince us Glenn has met his demise.
Let's be honest, if Glenn is dead, there's going to be a mob of any protesters outside the studios, so they probably want to avoid that.
And, let's not forget that bat-crazed-new-governor and Glenn don't get on well in the graphic novels, so technically, it would be going against the original story line to kill Glenn off now. *cough, cough* Daryl-doesn't-count *cough, Cough*.
But enough of that, back to the show. Following on from the filler last week, half the team continue herding the zombies that are left and the others head towards the sound of the suspicious horn noise which we now know is coming from Alexandria after the arrival of the Wolves.
Glenn takes Nicholas, Michonne, Dreds and a few extras to feed to the zombies and we're on our way. They get bitten and sprained and all sorts of we-shouldn't-have-brought-you-you-Alexandria-morons. However, this does make for some tasty zombie eatin' scenes.
Other than killing off a few new extras, and of course Glenn's big fake-send-off, what else happened in this episode? No really, what? Daryl and Rick had a small tiff over the radio ...
Apparently next week is a filler in the form of flashbacks.
