After stealing the Philly Cop's notebook last episode, Mike gets called back to the station to return it, alleviating Jimmy of his services shortly after.
A major turning point in this episode is Chuck, who we find standing outside and counting. He tells Jimmy he's trying to get better, and I can't help but wonder if Jimmy will cope with this in the future. If Chuck doesn't need Jimmy, what's left?
After taking the 'bribe' from the Kettleman's, Jimmy takes Kim to an empty office he intends to rent. He wants Kim to work with him, but she doesn't want to give up her cushy job with the suits to work in a scuffed up office. Go figure.
The Kettleman's ditch the suits and come crawling back to Jimmy, however because of whatever his past is with Kim, and his need to please her, he send them crawling back in the opposite direction. Not before Mike hosts an elaborate plan to find their stash of cash, however.
Jimmy does the right thing once again, and hands in his 'bribe' money with the rest.
So here's my thoughts: Is this Jimmy's life? Is this what it comes to, day in, day out? Is this why he ends up working in the dodgy little office? He's the good guy every time, yet he always ends up with the raw end of the deal.
Hey, anything's better than the salon right?
