I did yell at Rick to give him the death-stare-head-tilt, yet sadly, he just knocked him out. Good one Rick. Knocking him out is the best way to get information.
To sum up this episode, it really was about Rick admitting he needed to trust people again, or at least, that's what the rest of the gang hinted. Maybe Maggie forgot about the Governor murdering her father...
It turns out this Aaron guy was right, and they shouldn't have taken rout 23, but sadly, they do and they find an onslaught of zombies, similar to that last time they found a group of zombies...that wasn't as large, yet managed to render their car un-drivable. Maybe this new car has gotten its super-car-strength from the same place the gang got their super-human strength last episode.
Cue Eric, Aaron's love interest, but they just seem...too happy.
And don't even get me started on the applesauce scene. Seriously, the guy is out looking for people to convince to join him at Alexandria but he won't even give the apple sauce a go to prove himself? Come on!
We finally saw Washington, and yes, we did end up at Aaron's mentioned salvation: Alexandria. There's the sound of children playing and everyone seems to believe there is hope again.
Queue the previews for the next episode and we're back to suspense music and 'what's behind that door?!' scenes.
If this is the salvation Aaron has mentioned, their biggest gripe will be fitting in.
