(Fun Fact: the Filler Episode was made famous by the TV series, LOST when it abused its rights to filler episodes.) #bringbackcharlie #notpennysboat
Okay, so this filler episode was better than the average, focusing on what happened back at Alexandria during the dry run turned live run. Featured this episode: Alexandria morons running away from a good zombie head stab. Seriously? Who put that guy on Zombie watch?
While the tough guys of the team are off herding zombies, Carol takes over as undercover badass and keeps an eye on the others, better known as the Alexandrians, however it's not too long into the episode before the Wolves scale the walls and begin taking down anyone in their path. Cue some pretty awesome and gruesome deaths, and suddenly Carol is dressed up as a Wolf, finishing the leftovers to avoid any Alexandrians-turned-zombies in the near future.
Would have been a pretty cool twist if Carol was a Wolf ... just saying.
At least less predictable than the Wolves coming after Alexandria.
Move over Pete, Denise is the new psychiatrist turned doctor in town ... who is terrified of operating on people. This should go well. It worries me that she doesn't want to operate on a dying patient. What have you got to lose? Then again, Carol and Glen have come so far, maybe it's time we built up another worthy character.
Ah Jessie, you're one of us now. Finally, an Alexandrian with some guts. Okay, she's a little cray-cray, but hey, something's better than nothing right? I mean she really stabbed that wolf repetitively and more than necessary.
Aaron finds the backpack he lost last season during the epic canned food factory scene, under a Wolf and realises it's his fault that the Wolves found Alexandia.
All in all, a pretty decent episode for a filler. Perhaps the one thing we have to look forward to is Rick's death-stare-head-tilt when he sees what has been done to his new town. But really, let's get back to the zombie herd next week. The others are mundane.
